The Lean Burn Control system should help reduce fuel consumption.<br \/>\nIn the spring of 2015, Suzuki Marine released a new DF200AP engine, the design of which turned out to be successful, and the model itself &#8211; in demand. At the same time, the maximum power of 200 hp was excessive in some cases, given the maximum permissible power for many popular boat models. The company decided to create two new options &#8211; DF150AP and DF175AP. They are built on the basis of the same 2.9-liter 4-cylinder block, but differ in reduced power with a simultaneous maximum torque value at low revs.<\/p>\n<p>Suzuki claims that the 150- and 175-horsepower variants are among the most &#8220;voluminous&#8221; in their class. At the same time, a large working volume of 2,867 cc in combination with a relatively high compression ratio (10.2:1) does not mean high fuel consumption. Specific figures are not given, but the Lean Burn Control lean mixture supply technology, as well as a number of other design solutions, are named as advantages.<\/p>\n<p>The engines are distinguished by quiet operation and low vibration levels.
