Description
The new DF115BG and DF140BG outboard motors are the first in their class to demonstrate the maximum benefits of electronic control.
By implementing the proven electronic control technology in 4-stroke 115 and 140 horsepower motors, Suzuki Corporation has provided a wide range of boat and motorboat manufacturers with the opportunity to simply select equipment, as well as a number of advantages:

The reliability and accuracy of electronic control technology have been proven by years of use on Suzuki motors from 150 to 350 horsepower.
Results of the modernization of DF115BG / DF140BG motors
1) Increased compression ratio of 10.6:1. Allows the 2-liter motor to achieve maximum speed and acceleration due to increased thermal efficiency. Compared to existing Suzuki DF115 / DF140A models, the fuel combustion efficiency of the new motors is higher.
2) Fuel efficiency is 5-7% higher. Tests have shown that at medium and high speeds, the fuel efficiency of the DF115BG and DF140BG motors is 5-7% higher.
3) Availability of a 40A generator. It provides increased power and charges the battery at low speeds. An ideal option for modern energy-intensive fishing boats that spend a lot of time on the water in trolling mode.
4) New air intake system. Under the modernized motor hood there is a new air intake system with improved water separation and a noise muffler. The resonator system absorbs engine noise and allows you to enjoy the operation of the motor at any speed.
