Description
Following the recent launch of their new flagship outboard, the DF350A, Suzuki has unveiled the new motor at the Genoa Boat Show.
Introducing the new, light-weight DF100B.
Suzuki is known for making lightweight, compact four-stroke outboards, and the new DF100B is no exception. Suzuki has focused on the important mid-price segment and has successfully created the lightest 100hp outboard to date.
Weighing in at just 156kg, the new DF100BTL is 25kg lighter than the existing DF100A and 6kg lighter than its closest competitor,
making it the perfect outboard for a wide range of boats.
With the new DF100B, Suzuki has built on a proven design and engineering, using the same 1502cc engine, The same DF70A/80A/90A models. However, it has added even more value to this new model by upgrading the ECM rating as well as adding a water detection filter. The water detection fuel filter is designed to protect the engine by alerting the driver when water is present.
This new model will be available in Pearl Nebular Black with a large silver 3D “S” emblem to highlight the more premium look of the motor.
The existing DF100A will still be available for purchase alongside the new DF100B, so customers will have a choice of which model best suits their needs.
