Suzuki boat engine DF 40A
Description
DF40A is a lightweight 941cc engine with 12 valves and two overhead camshafts, sequential multi-point electronic fuel injection and an air intake system optimized for maximum efficiency. It is developed on the basis of high-performance Suzuki automobile engines. The special design of the oil pump promotes more efficient oil flow, better lubrication of moving parts without energy loss. Reduction of mechanical losses leads to higher fuel efficiency. During the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the DF40 engine will be used as one of the models of engines for the sailing regatta, and this once again confirms the fact of the reliability and efficiency of this engine.
