Suzuki boat engine DF 200AP

Description

The new 4-stroke DF200A engine impresses with its high performance that you would expect only from a V6 engine. Today, the DF200A is the lightest in its class. In addition, the DF200A has outstanding features that customers can appreciate:

Direct air intake and variable valve timing system allow the most efficient use of useful heat transfer (heat engine efficiency) and provide high performance.
“Big Block” with an engine capacity of 2.867 cm³ and a high compression ratio provides a rapid increase in rpm and maximum torque at fairly low rpm.
The lean burn system reduces fuel consumption.
Knock, oxygen and water sensors monitor internal operating parameters and ensure smooth operation.
In addition to the DF200A, Suzuki also produces a new model DF200AP, which has even more technical capabilities. The DF200AP will be the first 200hp outboard on the market to feature precision electronic controls and a selectable rotation system. The selectable rotation system allows dealers to set the engines for standard or reverse rotation, thanks to a specially designed drive in the lower gearcase and an electronic reverse switch.

The DF200AP will also feature a keyless ignition system. This system will use a radio transmitter with a code that transmits an access code to the engine starting system. When this key fob is within 60 inches (approximately 1.5 m) of the main ignition unit, the engine can be started with the push of a button.
