Description

Suzuki is a recognized leader in the compact four-stroke outboard motor industry. The new DF60A, with its high-tech design, lives up to that reputation. Engineers have redesigned every component from the ground up, taking into account the knowledge and technology gained from manufacturing outboard motors over the past decade. Suzuki’s lean-fuel control technology allows the outboard to run on a very lean air-fuel mixture by regulating fuel consumption according to operating conditions. One of the important design features is two camshafts with 12 valves, which increases the efficiency and power of the motor. A specially designed oil pump allows oil to penetrate the lubrication system with the least resistance, resulting in reduced mechanical losses, which contributes to high fuel economy. Equipped with highly efficient electronic fuel injection, a maintenance-free timing chain – a first for the 60 hp class, a new tilt limiter that also functions as a tilt sensor and a powerful 19-amp alternator. The DF60A is the lightest and most compact of the 60 hp outboard motors. When fishing or hunting, on the open sea or during river trips – it never tires of proving its efficiency, economy and productivity.
