Description

The new Suzuki DF300AP outboard motor is rapidly gaining a leading position in the watercraft market. It has already been awarded a special prize for innovation by the National Association of Marine Engine Manufacturers. The DF300AP model is equipped with a new sensor with an advanced system for determining the oxygen content in exhaust gases, a lean mixture control system (Suzuki Lean Burn System) and a fuel filter with a water detection sensor. It is worth noting the presence of the Suzuki Precision System, which makes it possible to use the motor without remote control cables due to the use of an electric cable and special actuators. As a result of using this system, it has become even easier to install two control posts and several motors on the transom. Already the first tests show that the updated DF300AP is 15% more economical than the previous DF300 model. Also, the company’s engineers have significantly transformed the gearbox of the new DF300AP motor, which can operate in normal mode, both in the right and left rotation of the propeller. Now, when installing a second motor of equal power on the boat hull, you do not need to select a motor with counter-rotation – just switch one of the motors to the reverse rotation mode and install the corresponding (suitable) propeller.
